1. The basis of stainless steel materials
-Stainless steel is divided into two types: stainless steel and acid-resistant steel. Among them, stainless steel is resistant to atmospheric corrosion, and acid-resistant steel is resistant to corrosion by chemical media (such as strong acid and strong acid).
-Stainless steel is composed of austenite, martensite, ferrite, duplex, and precipitation hardening. The most common types are austenite and martensite.
2. Alloying elements contained in stainless steel
-Stainless steel mainly adds rare elements such as Cr, Ni, and Mo to steel.
-Generally, steel with a chromium content of more than 12% is characterized by stainless steel.
3. Why doesn't stainless steel rust?
-The essence of stainless steel is that when stainless steel is exposed to the air, it quickly forms a passive film on the surface to prevent further oxidation.
-This passivation film, the main component is chromium iron compound (FeCr) 2O3. Acid resistance, strong corrosion resistance.

4. General purpose of stainless steel materials
-Austenite is often used for machining parts and frame members. Common level:
-1Cr18Ni9(302)
-1Cr18Ni9Ti,
-Y1Cr18Ni9(303)
-0Cr19Ni9(304)
-0Cr17Ni12Mo2(316)
-00Cr17Ni14Mo2(316L)
All are austenitic stainless steel.
5. Regarding 302, 303 and 304
-What to choose 302, 303, 304
-302 maximum carbon content is 0.15%; generally used for general extension parts, decoration, and daily necessities
-304 maximum carbon content of 0.08%; generally used as a pipe
The basic composition of -303 is the same as that of 302, but the sulfur content is 0.15% higher, and the cutting performance is good, which can greatly reduce the processing cost. Usually used for machining parts

What is the difference between 6.316 and 316L?
Why use 316 or 316L parts?
-The main difference is that the maximum value of 316 is 0.08%, and the maximum value of 316L is 0.03%. After the carbon is heated, it is easy to precipitate carbon-chromium compounds, and the local Cr content is reduced, which seriously affects the corrosion resistance of stainless steel. The product material to be welded is 316L.
-Generally, the socket connector uses 316 texture, because the strength of 316 is slightly higher than that of 316L.
7. Other materials commonly used in stainless steel products
-PTFE--PTFE (Teflon, DuPont)
Working temperature -200 ~ 250, the highest chemical stability, the material is soft, can be refrigerated, there are fine debris on the material
-Polytrifluoroethylene-pctfe (kel-f, 3M)
Working temperature -200 ~ 120, used in places with chemical resistance, high material strength, high pressure and high cleaning requirements after PTFE-Viton (DuPont)
Working temperature -40 ~ 200, good chemical stability

8. Double card sleeve performance
-If the strength of the socket joint is greater than the strength of the pipe, the pipe will be broken, and the socket joint will not be separated or damaged.
-It can be reused after decomposition, and it can be reused more than 25 times. When relocking, it is usually locked in the original position and then locked 1/12th of a turn.
9. Double ferrule joint performance
-Completely replaceable, completely interchangeable with swagelok.
-He leak detection, 1 10-8atm.cc/sec or higher
-High and low temperature test (-40 ~ 150)
-Vibration test (10-20Hz vibration 1000,000 times)
10. Pipeline requirements
-When using pipe joints, the pipe requirements are relatively high.
-Tube outer diameter tolerance is usually less than 0.1mm
-The nozzle cut is straight and there are no obvious scratches on the surface.
-The nozzle keeps roundness and cannot be oval.
