The key element of the diaphragm elastic coupling is that a certain number of thin metal diaphragms are stacked into a diaphragm group. When transmitting torque, part of the metal diaphragm is stretched, and the other part is squeezed and tends to bend. When there are axial, radial and angular deviations, the diaphragm produces wave-like deformation. When the diaphragm coupling is connecting the rotors at both ends, the shaft sleeves at both ends of the coupling are in interference fit with the shafts of the rotors at both ends, and there is no relative torsion angle between the rotor end shaft and the shaft sleeve of the diaphragm coupling, and the middle The sleeve and the diaphragm are connected by screws. Therefore, when using the finite element method to analyze the dynamic characteristics of torsional vibration of the multi-cylinder series unit connected by the diaphragm coupling, the diaphragm coupling can be discretized into several general shaft segment units. Due to the metal elastic structure of this coupling, it has the advantages of heat resistance, corrosion resistance, long service life, absorbing greater shaft deviation, reducing the installation accuracy requirements of the diaphragm coupling and mitigating impact. At the same time, it can also reduce the vibration of the shaft and improve the service life of the whole unit.
